I manage DB&T Insurance and am responsible for selling insurance Products. I have been with the bank for 21 years and in the insurance field for more than 27 years. My designations are Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Professional Insurance Woman.

I have a been in Retail Banking for more than 19 years and I am responsible for supervising the Retail Sales area. I am a member of the DB&T Women Connect task force and other numerous organizations throughout the community. My hobbies include camping, decorating and spending time with family and friends.

I’m responsible for sales, originating mortgageloans and assisting customers with the best possible loan program for their real estate transactions. My career in mortgage lending spans nine years, four have been at Dubuque Bank and Trust. I enjoy seeing the happiness on a customer’s face when they purchase their dreams! I am also a member of the DB&T Women Connect task force.

As the Executive Director for Excursions...Great Travel Happens, I plan and execute group travel to multiple destinations; it is exciting and rewarding to provide memories for our travelers. In addition to group travel, I provide concierge services for the individual traveler. Currently, I am a senior at Clarke College pursuing my BA in Communications.

A veteran of the financial services industry since1982. I joined Dubuque Bank & Trust in 1990. I obtained my Business Administration degree from Loras College. I received my designation as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor in 2002 and as a Certified IRA Services Professional in 2006. I am also a member of the DB&T Connect Task Force.

Julie L. Shanahan
Vice President Teller Operations Officer

I have been at Dubuque Bank & Trust and Heartland Financial USA, Inc for 35 years, and a graduate of the University Of Wisconsin School Of Banking. I am responsible for teller operations in our ten Heartland member banks located in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana and Colorado.

I've been with Dubuque Bank & Trust for over three years in the Excursions travel program. My position allows me experiences with customers beyond banking. In addition to the Women Connect Task Force, I also volunteer for the Dubuque Jaycees and Main Street Dubuque and am also a member of YP Dubuque.
