Financial services company celebrates 40-year partnership with DB&T
van Wagenen Financial Services, a leading provider of insurance protection and tracking services for financial institutions, recently celebrated its 40-year relationship with Dubuque Bank and Trust.
A small ceremony to mark the milestone, which began in January of 1970, was held at the bank’s Asbury location.
Shari Bartels, who has worked closely with van Wagenen for several years and is instrumental in servicing DB&T's home loans, also received a plaque and recognition.
Doug Horstmann, president and CEO of DB&T, credits the relationship’s success to the strongly held values shared by both companies. “We pledge to our customers innovation, superior service and the highest degree of integrity,” he said. “This relationship has prospered because van Wagenen delivers the same to us. They listen to what we need and work with us to accomplish our goals.”
Since first doing business, both companies have grown substantially in size and services. With $1 billion in assets, DB&T today has eight offices in Dubuque, Farley, Epworth and Holy Cross. van Wagenen, the industry leader in auto insurance tracking and lender placed insurance products, continues to expand its expertise into mortgage and equipment protection nationwide.
